do you use a mousepad for gaming?

I use a glass taken from a picture frame (those anti-reflective ones) quite smooth, I guess it should be close to an icemat, and big enough for me (35x30)

It's not a real mousepad but who cares, it works (well, at least with my g5)

Used Razer Sphex, the one must be clued to table. Waste of money even though it was cheaper it came loose from table and had to replace it with Roccat Sota. The surface seems same but its larger (and expensive) and doesn´t move around the table with mouse even without clue ;) Compared to "ordinary" mousepad its more precise and stable to move the mouse.
