Criteria for the map to be considered are: map has to be around 10mb in size, it has to be big enough to accommodate 50 players, if there are multiple versions please post a link to the latest version from our downloadsection. If map is full of bugs or has lag/fps drops it will not be considered. Do not ask for stock maps or baserace. Don't post maps that don't have waypoints for bots unless you are willing to create waypoints for them. And try to keep the attacking teams balanced, axis attacking/ allies attacking. This is basically the same topic about jay1 that Joedirt created ( I hope with his permission) only now it is for jay2 Us giving suggestions does not garantee that it will happen, it depends on wether the administrators find some time. I agree with you there, but there are some problems with the waypoints for the bots with this map. This server is hungry for change! It needs new maps! And the traffic has been impacted as well! MY night crew has been significantly reduced. I invite a coleader or leader to ask if the ppl are tired of the current maps. I assure you that you will get a reply. The people want change! How much time does it take to change the map rotation? I really don't know. I wish they would comment on these topics so we know what might or might not happen. And that aside, if we do not hand them maps like in the top comment, nothing will happen. So only saying that you think warbell would be nice won't get us anywhere. And Kevin, to keep the server interesting I think we need new maps. So no maps from previous rotations, but try to find something new. Scout out the download section for something nice. Assuming that it takes a lot of time and motivation to change the map rotation, we have to make it as easy as possible for them. So please follow the instructions in the top comment. Waypoints are very important for this, because if the map does not have any, we or they will have to make them ourselves. And I assume that will take a lot of time. KevinBacon Posted February 25, 2012 Share Posted February 25, 2012 I did make that previous comment keeping in mind that Unknown had made several suggestions that already had waypoints. I guess it's just going to take a dive in numbers for the leaders to make a change. Last time we ventured down this road with the christmas maps, I did learn that a lot goes into making a change to the map rotation. I'm just trying to keep this server interesting. We have a lot of dedicated regulars and I would really hate to lose them to something like boredom. I try to remind them that donations are an asset to keeping the clan running. I just don't see why they would pay for a server when it's getting half the visitors it could be getting. I'm trying to let this server survive to it's full potential by keeping it entertaining.
