JohnWayne
As most of you know I have had colon cancer and been on chemo for the last 9 months. My blood plateletts had got down to about 40% of where they should be and the doctor held up my chemo after 10 treatments waitijng for them to recover. The plateletts did build back up but in the process I had a bone marrow biopsy done and a few other tests to see why they were responding so slow. Today I got the all clear from the doctor. The platelett production was hindered by the chemo but is ok now and they don't feel there is need for any more chemo treatments. Will have a CT scan and a couple of other tests to ensure the cancer is totally gone and then schedule surgery to re-attach my colon.. My butthole's vacation will soon be over. All in all it looks like I am in the clear. Now the side effects of the chemo will start wearing off, like my blurry vision and the hyper-senitivity to cold and that funky hangover feeling. Oh yeah I never did lose my hair. Thanks to all of you folks that encouraged me and said prayers in my behalf.
