Paris, Texas that is Planning a trip to Alaska for next summer, not going anywhere now since I am still on Chemo for another month or so.... I have been to Iceland for 3 months back in the 70s when I was in the Navy and I spend 3+ years in Newfoundland Canada.. Been all over the USA from NY city to LA and ofc the border towns of Mexico. My work took me all over so I have been very fortunate to have seen so much of the country. I have always loved the adventure of traveling to new places and meeting new and interesting people. abnerdog Posted July 23, 2011 Share Posted July 23, 2011 Took a cruise in March. I was not real happy with that though. Freak wind storm blew us off the dock. The crew had to drop anchor quickly and it got stuck in the mud. We were stuck in port for a day and a half sitting about 30 feet from dock so we could not leave the ship.
