I'd be against drugs (in general) too if my cousin/ friend/colleague/child/ whatever gets innocently killed because of it.. In that case it doesnt even matter anymore whether it's cocaine, heroin, cannabis or another sort of drug. Drugs are bad to him. We're just (pretty) lucky we don't have that so close to our homes So respect someone's opinions EDIT: all of this without even mentioning if using it has a negative/positive effect on your health. The whole drug cartel thing is totally understandable..I wish it wasn't going on at all...I know it must be hell to be living in that situation and it does affect your mentality on how you percieve weed. That being said, that part is only the "business" side of the story which papito is living through ATM,.This thread was made for people to show off their collections, etc..and he came here and pretty much called me a drug addict for showing off a bong, and some rolling papers... It is understanable that many people including Papito are against weed for various reasons, but making accusations about someone you don't know at all, and labeling him a "drug addict" is totally wrong IMO. Even at that, his evidence behind calling me a "drug addict" was a very weak and uninformed one. i was just trying to show him some facts, stats, etc.and he came out calling me a drug addict because of the situation in Mexico and without even doing some basic research to see if what he is claiming Weed is bad for is true or false...anyways PAPITO no offense taken man Good luck You guys, Papito is from Mexico.. There has been countless researches showing that infact in some indiviudals Marijuana brings up "hidden" mental health issues, since it is a pshycoledic drugs..this is especially true for those people prone to Schizophrenia and Psycosis..I belive the research said that it is carried in a strand of a certain gene. In my case, MJ actually is effecting me in a positive way. It helps me relax, put things into perspective, be clear minded, etc....and I am 110% functional on it. I guess you have to look at it this way: If your father was an alcoholic and he'd beat you up, the logical response would be to hate your father and everything he stands for. Namely alcohol. You will always have this bad idea about alcohol and what it does to people, which could result in not drinking it (or in abusing it yourself ofcourse). So in that way I totally understand papito. I know you understand what I mean so no need to keep posting about it. About me and MJ, I can't say anything but good things about our relationship. She does cost me some bucks but it's well worth the price! Gotta stop seeing her though for a month due to exams. As far as my own view on the drug, I agree that it's safer than alcohol. From everything I know about it, and my own personal experience, it shows little to NO dependancy, unlike tobacco and alcohol. If it were legal, I would absolutely partake in an occasional bowl with an ice cold pepsi on a nice relaxing summer night. Hell, I'd be growing some in my garden now, instead of peas, strawberries, watermelon, pumpkins and cantalope.. But the fact is, where I live,(NY) it's illegal. And as much as I disagree with about 99% of the government, laws, etc... I still live here, and must abide by those laws. Jail time/fines are not worth the risk for me. Although in my case, it'd most likely be jail time. Go big or go home. I wouldn't have a few grams for personal use... I'd have a few pounds in my posession.
