Freezing ET

If you're using nvidia, go to your nvidia control panel (right click desktop & click on NVIDIA Control Panel), in "Manage 3D Settings" select Wolfenstein from the list of your applications.

 

In the list of settings, scroll down to the bottom and try forcing Threaded Optimisation to OFF.

 

Solved red spikes for me ^_^

Your operating system: (XP? Vista? Win7?)

32bit or 64bit processor?

Every time i play ET, it crashes my CPU i guess and freezes. I wont be lagging or anything, it will just freeze like a lag. But it never unfreezes. If you read this will you please help me?

Only ET application freezes or whole PC?

Hmm.. How long has this been happening? only recent or always with ET? Do you know what spec your processor and RAM are?

Sometimes im also getting freeze but its only WOlf et aplication. And i need to close ET in Windows task mennager.

 

 

Yeah this was exactly what was happening to me, only ET freezes. I missed the part where he said it was his whole PC. Hopefully Chuck's suggestion will work for this too.
