BossHK
So, I'm trying to run ET with older ogl drivers. Reason: ET uses 2.0 ogl dynamic functions and my gfx is using 4.1 when i load ET --> Might be 1 reason for fps problems? But when I put older atioglxx.dll file to my ET folder and I try to run ET, it gives this error: "LoadLibrary failed with error 998: Invalid Access to memory location". I have removed all ati drivers and just installed display drivers, didn't help. Maybe my gfx card can't support older ogl drivers(HD 6870)? Any ideas? Administrators JoeDirt Posted April 21, 2011 Administrators Share Posted April 21, 2011 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833620 Learn how to read it says Windows Server 2003 in the goddamn title, he knows how to use google as well, what he wants to know if anyone had an issue similar to his and the result. @ boss you aint going to get it working sorry bud. Its a different architecture and design of the card. Newer cards are not that much backwards compatible when it comes to the drivers.
