Haha nah, I like my blue's and of course heavy metal :punk

My current ibanez has humbucking and they sound fine.

Edit: Wow i'm an idiot, got 2 pickups mixed up. I meant Humbucking lol. I was thinking rickenbacker because of my fathers old bass.

He sold it many years ago, 25 years i think. Looked alot better then the one above.

Recommendation. Seymour Duncans. For passive set up, JB and Jazz set.

Active, Blackouts

Or Rockfield pickups.

Rockfield pickups are cheaper.

my esp viper has JB and jazz. Great for blues, and metals also

My old ESP eclipse had blackouts. Greatest pickups ive ever played

on my strat, i put a rockfield mafia pickup for the hell of it. it screams

Yeah at the moment i am just dreaming lol, i like the S-Hellraise c-1 but it does not have the sound i am looking for. Tempest sounds alright but for $700 i would rather just keep saving. Still hopeing for a wolfgang for christmas (not literaly), if not i'll have to steal one (literaly) :D

i would save up for this

i used my friends tempest in one of the songs in my band's EP.

and he also had this, and it sounded similar, yet the pickups, quality and the action felt so much better.

Similar sound, but superior
