Cl_timenudge -30 This tells your client to wait specific amount of time before drawing information from you & will reduce your ping significantly.. or at least does for me! Snuffs99 Posted March 16, 2020 Share Posted March 16, 2020 (edited) Its an old argument, does TN help or hinder etc........Personally i think its a pointless task in todays internet, you may think your ping is "lower" but in reality its not and all your doing forcing your system to guess where players would be etc while no doubt warping for the odd few. You are correct for today's connections I also concur the usefulness of this setting isn't as great as our LAN/Dial-up days - However, I am running a decent system but I am over 10k miles from main server so for me I do actually notice a difference! I'd rather depend on my system make up the calculations that lack from the internet fluctuations here (Which happen VERY often)... Helicopters flying over with their jammers, flags getting in the way of my microwave shot etc.. lol.. First world probs! Though as you said to each their own.. if it helps great if not ehh.
