Windows Dolby Digital on Realtek Audio Drivers

After reading a bunch of stuff I've concluded that there is no version for Windows 10 1903 Build 18362.295

 

All I can find is these

Creators

Fall Creators

Anniversary
and Later 

 

All pre-2017 drivers

 

Even Microsoft which only supports working none bugged installers https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=Realtek+Semiconductor+Corp.+sound

The guy in the video said to extract the cab file to a new folder and to use device manager to find the driver using manual method and search in the new folder

using the files listed in the microsoft catalog

 

I've also read that the manager isn't supported on 64bit systems

 

I think regardless off the driver and bit set the OS is not supported by Realtek my opinion sense they give no direct drivers for the build

 

You may need to downgrade the OS to a later build

Cause I really don't see matches for

2.7    Version 1809 (October 2018 Update)
2.8    Version 1903 (May 2019 Update)
2.9    Codename 19H2
2.10    Codename 20H1

 

With the motherboard your using it is using the Fall Creators drivers but the OS is not built for the driver you can try a later Realtek driver but sense their is no support drivers for this build 

I'd have to say you will have a endless effort to fix this

That's what I think too. Maybe I should look at sound cards

I was going to suggest finding a USB DAC possibly a cheap one if you used the current drivers you might be able to by pass the driver through a universal usb driver and still use the codecs

 

if you decide to get a card try to find a ASUS Xonar DG 5.1 it's a few years old so you may find a good used one on ebay or aliexpress

 

anything else will be expensive just a thought cause I looked there are some used ones but not really many cheap used ones for the ASUS Xonar Essence STX a couple years old
