=F|A=FunkybananA too long?

I've fought this stupid problem for too long now and I really need help.

 

 

As I joined F|A as a trial member, I changed my name to =F|A=FunkybananA with every other character white and red.. It seems to have too many characters in it cause ET won't let me write it in "Options" and neither does it let me do it in autoexec.. The only way I can write the whole name is through console and /set name "NAME" with colortags...

 

 

On the server and SL it represents me as =F|A=Funkyb. What should I do?

I think its those colorcodes they make too much letters for your name if u use every second white and red for that long name.

So I should use more letters under one colorcode..

yeah all that colour coding doubles the length of your name

open console and type /set name ^7=^1F^7|^1A^7= ^c( dunno what colour u want with ur name) FunkybananA to know all colors use this Nickname Generator

I had the same problem when I used to use =F|A=Arro@antba$tarD

 

This is what I ended up getting to work: ^p=F|A=^7Arro^y@^pant^7Ba^y$^ptarD (34 characters)

 

Your original: ^1F^7u^1n^7k^1y^7b^1a^7n^1a^7n^1A (33 Characters)

 

Try this its should work:

 

^1=F^7|^1A=F^7u^1nkyb^7a^1nan^7A (32 characters)

 

*making the =F|A= all one color will turn 15 characters into 7

I never knew there was a maximum number of characters in your name, I know it doesn't display the whole name in obituaries if your name is too long.

So 32 characters is the maximum length?

Well, you could have the =F|A= with red and white like you did first, but I'd recommend to write i.e. "Funky" with red and "bananA" with white like I did with blue and white(patriotic )

Figured something out, and I'm going to try them tomorrow, now I'm just way too tired, and it all goes to the same old point, which is that I end up staying up all night sitting on the computer

I'm losing my patience soon

 

 

 

I created a profile with the name dfdfdfsfds or something just to make it work, then deleted all the other ones and renamed the 'dfdfdsff' to =F|A=FunkybananA with only |,u,a,A characters white, and seemed to be short enough..

 

 

Then I configured my settings again and thought "phew, maybe this is it, i'll get rid of the stupid name problem", BUT NO! I entered ETpub server, and the console says "Welcome our temp admin =F|A=Funkyb!

 

 

And guess what? - Yes it was written with every other letter with white and every other with red!?

 

I'm really out of ideas now, what is there to do?

It has nothing to do with your profile..you can leave that default white if you wish.

 

You cannot do red/white every other color, its too long 16 x 3 = 48
