Administrators daredevil Posted September 12, 2010 Administrators Share Posted September 12, 2010 Effective immediately, you will need to submit your last 8 character of your GUID instead of full 32! If you have purchased namelock feature, then we will need full 32 GUID. You can edit your GUID from your profile and keep only last 8 digit GUID. Forums will auto delete your TOPIC in protest ban or admin abuse section within 3 days if you haven't submitted your last 8 character of GUID in profile. If GUID validation fails no ban will be lifted. If you are SGA (Streaming Game Admin) on PBBans, you will be able to search your GUID from our forums with one click. FYI Only Staff, co leader and leaders will be able to see your GUID on our forums. Yes. There is no needed for 32 character GUID anymore. Also, if under any case in future if F|A forums get hacked due to some exploit in IPB, php or mysql, etc no one will be able to get your full GUID. All we need is last 8 digit. Yes peppe, always try to get condump of cheater so u get full guid easly (except in etpub, where you get only the last 8 digits if im not wrong ).
