Lenovo Posted January 27, 2019 Share Posted January 27, 2019 (edited) I keep seeing, when I'm a spectator, a lot of people who use the class: Fieldops, and have not yet figured out how and when they can perform an airstrike or a fire for effect. Sometimes they continue to ask for support, despite the fact that the console returns the visual and sound error: insufficient fire support, and they continue to make everyone deaf insufficient fire support insufficient fire support insufficient fire support insufficient fire support etc... Dear guys, I would like to inform you that perhaps it would be better to read the weapons wiki, before using them, also to avoid spoiling the matches. The Fieldops, to check if the air support is available, must check the lightning bolt icon located below the white loading bar of the same, must be white. If it's red it's not available, and it's useless to call the support for those who did not understand, see the figure below not available available white lightning and loading bar ready red bolt, support not available, but loading bar ready red bolt, support not available, but loading bar not ready (if you do not have enough xps) I hope that those who were not aware of this little information, even if 15 years have passed, can enjoy a better game, so as not to ruin the game to others who try to use that class. captnconcrete Posted January 27, 2019 Share Posted January 27, 2019 thats why i never play fo if i do i gotta time my arty and airstrikes just right becuz some fool yes i said it.. is spaming it in a stupid spot.lol i agree leno ....but we are all on getting ar own fun in.. so its hard to make a point. my favorite is trying to escort tank and someone is on my team artying the dam tank so everytime i try to build it i fly 50ft in air and splat.lol or the arty right out side spawn points.. u do know about spawn shield right .lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Oh and just for ref in NQ 1.2.7 and above the lightning strike under the charge bar was replaced by a can (like a spray can) for airstrike and binocs for FFE. Never quite got the hang of airstrikes and what not. I genuinely never knew anything about the lightning bolt and had never noticed it or read the wikis! This was really informative and helpful. Vanaraud Posted January 30, 2019 Share Posted January 30, 2019 Gotta love when playing a match and there are no ammo around and you choose FO in Special Delivery to ONLY hand out ammo and be only FO. Next it´s supply and everyone chooses FO and there´s like 1 med and 1 engy and everyone is spamming arty and airstrike... sigh. 3 FO isn´t too much for 15 players per team as 1 can throw air, 1 arty and one can give out ammo. Because medics without ammo are left with suicide or running around with knife and they will not be so much rambo anymore;) Depends a lot by map but yeah, for a map which takes place only inside 1 FO is more than enough. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was the essence of the only real fun that only Enemy Territory had, and that's why he stayed alive, as long as they create a new map, and it becomes incredibly exciting again, it will never die, but if people play individually, it ruins the game of many. When playing at ETPRO 6vs6 if you did not play as a team the game ended in a few minutes. You where asking player to use 512MB hunk megs which is fking plain stupid. com_hunkmegs (default 56) for 2003 , we are on 2019 try, 256 or 512 com_zonemegs (default 24) try 128 com_soundmegs (default 24) try 64 Also asking someone to use r_displayrefresh 60 when you have no idea what their monitor hardware is, that's just plain stupid. When I played today under my name or other name - i had medics dying to revive me and many even died on tram map while reviving others. You are full of negative BS. I feel sorry for you. Yes that's my experience of playing on our jay1 server and HC and silent1 server. seems like you are kinda guy when medic fails to revive you - you start complaining OMG OMG no revives.
