try AS SSD Benchmark or crystal diskto have a look at the speed. Maybe everything is ok image.png.05597afb424d61779635b2082472c00e.png

Look in bios for AHCI in Advanced there is Jmicron SATA Controller switch from IDE to AHCI to get full speed read/write ability don't switch the SATA Configuration leave it as IDE

One is called Configuration other is called Controller

I only see this Kingston SSD Manager https://www.kingston.com/us/support/technical/ssdmanager

I think it only works on genuine Kingston's if you have a fake one you will know.

Im not sure of Kingston's ssdmanager if it has a rapid mode or advanced setup feature like Samsung but it should have a bench mark tool to check Read/Write~IOPs as you should use a program built by the manufacturer of the device for best results and accuracy.

There is this 3rd party tool to do more checking but I can't approve of 3rd party tools but you can use at your discretion https://www.hyperxgaming.com/us/support/technical/kingston-ssd-toolbox

" I don't approve of 3rd party tools because they can be outdated but this works on windows 7-8.1" before installing always scan for virus's before installing.

As for the AHCI if you Switch the configuration from IDE to AHCI and the system doesn't boot that is because you have to install the new system on a un-partitioned drive to use Configuration just so you know.

I tried, and on 4 hard drives
sees me the one connected to the third os-free sata port, and one connected with the usb adapter

I basically have these:

port 1 SATA SanDisk SSD PLUS 120GB
2 SATA port Samsung 1TB
port 3 SATA Seagate 1TB
4 SATA port free
Seagate USB port 300GB 7200rpm

Kingston SSD Manager

I'm using it on the laptop
because I have them that SSD Kingston

Is the SSD the primary boot device if it is and you have AHCI enabled in Controller and already have a OS on before hand the others will be dormant to the default port speeds built in for the type they are.

For the Kingston you should be getting 450-500 mbs read/write with AHCI enabled in Controller if your connected to SATA3 port if it is just SATA2 you should still get the same results minus storage size 6g/3g

If you are not you may need to unplug the others for a min setup the SSD device and benchmark it to be sure it's getting the proper speed.

That should be all you need to do and if you want to use AHCI Configuration delete the SSD partition from another OS and only if you have a Windows Install disc available and then set the Configuration on to the SSD to AHCI from IDE and change Controller to AHCI

If all else fails reset cmos to factory settings and start over

Exactly this. Here's what I would do.

1) Download Windows install disc and use a thumb drive to save on. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

FYI this will delete any existing data on the thumbdrive

2) Confirm the firmware is up to date and update if needed (Update firmware on SSD and motherboard bios)

3) Confirm using a SATA 3 cable. If all of the sata ports are sata3 the cables supplied with the mobo should all be sata3. Use of SATA 2 cable will result in 3GB/s.

4) Pull the other harddrive and plug the ssd into sata 1

5) Confirmed AHCI mode was enabled before you install windows. Reboot with install media (CD or thumbdrive)
To find AHCI Follow steps similar to 1 through 5 and save https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19127-01/ultra27.ws/820-6773/giakd/index.html

6) Install Windows with AHCI enabled.

7) Now reconnect HDD drive and move your documents and whatever over from your hard drive. Then reformat that drive. Now you have a fresh HDD storage drive.

If it doesnt work you then I would return or RMA the drive. Apparently some one else had an issue and it was their Kingston drive. Look at the answers.  http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2978543/ssd-running-sata-speeds.html

If it still doesn't work and you are okay with it, its still an SSD and SIGNIFICANTLY better than your old HDD :)
