Hello all! Recently spoken to Smiley about collaborating some map editing and we've decided to take on a project for Braundorf, (It's a very easy map to add changes to and can become quite open for a 25v25 server) But instead of just adding some changes that we would like, we think it'd be best to get the players opinions and see what they think is missing or could be a great addition and we would work on it for you! 😄 So here is Braundorf original: (It'll be hard to map it out from just the raw file, but I am happy to post changes as we've made them for public feedback) Please don't expect the process to be done and live on servers within a week as map editing can spoof so many things with one change and it be annoying to fix the spoof. But I'm happy to be making some changes and hopefully see the map live on the server in the future. EDIT: I know the title states only braundorf, but I would like to add that these are maps that currently have ideas to be changed: Braundorf, Pirates, Adlernet and Warbell. (Some may appear sooner than others) @Smileyyy

I just had an idea from Discord while talking with @bigbro When J1 is full, it autoredirects you to J2. If posible, would it be a good idea to not redirect the player automatically, but to give the player the choice to get to another server. It would give a list instead with our servers. I made this quick sketch (sorry for bad quality 😄 ) So sth like this (I made a typo, it is "want to be redirected") Is it possible to implement such a thing? Would it be good idea to have this?

Hey Guys, Me an a couple of friends formed a 3v3 team an played in the recent Legacy ODC, we are a new team and got completely rolled by 1. playing 30stm in our first game 😅 and 2. making noob mistakes and not knowing how to play with each other in the 2nd 😄; but it was still very fun none the less. So for more fun and learn how to play 3's properly and develop map tactics etc we are looking for some regular weekly matches if anybody here would be interested? If there is enough interest i don't mind organising teams to match people together for teams or a little round robin tournament if we can get 3,4,5 etc teams interested. Open to all, don't worry about any experience/skill level; if you have never played scrims/gathers this would be a great opportunity to learn and have a different type of fun in ET compared to public 🙂 Let me know here or in PM or on my discord if you fancy it Thanks ASBO ill tag people who showed interest in other threads here @Dest!Ny@Lt Steiner@Magi@Cross Marian@Dju@Valk@!MX@MaTt0@MaxPower

Hello. I had a problem, recently and I decided to post my advice for players who are having issues with the internet connection during the game or may experience lag sometimes. First of all, I bought a new laptop from HP which has AMD Ryzen 3 PRO 2300U w/ Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.00 GHz and I experienced lag in the main menu and also in the game while trying to play...it was basically impossible. Because this is a new model of processor , I recommend you to disable all the graphics advanced settings while playing the game such as these ones from the screenshot attached. Personally, I did not have the necessary time to test these settings on some new games, but for this one ,specifically I did not see any improvement , so far. With these settings disabled, the game is running decent now , even on the laptop. Also I found some additional information posted by @Ace a few years ago, on the forum, as well and I used the following settings: /cl_maxpackets 100 /rate 25000 /snaps 40 /com_maxfps 85 However you may add some extra performance by using the Razer Cortex: Game Booster which can be used to disable some of the unnecessary programs to have a smooth gaming experience. In you have an older pc or laptop , I recommend to change it's HDD to an SSD and also add some RAM memory if it's possible and of course a decent internet connection with at least 100 MB/s. You may also follow what @nAbish said on the following post if you want some extra settings in the game If you have any other information, feel free to post it here because it might be useful for other players

Does anyone remember this map? Called the tank. Objectives: MISSION: The Axis and Allies are facing off in an abandoned Mountains. Each side has set up operations in the area. OBJECTIVES (AXIS): - Defend the prototype Tank to the last man... - Steal top secret war documents from an Allies Field Operations and deliver them to Kommendantur. - Defend the Forward Bunker from the Allies. - Do not let Allies Breach the Main Garage Door - Stop the Allies from constructing a Command Post in the Side Bunker. - Build a Command Post in the Forward Bunker. we should organize scrims ... to level up our skills , in publics people play for objective and its sad . maps end fest administradors get togheter with fans of fa and recruters and lets get some scrimss .. have fun come back et !!

Team stacking has always been an issue on FA servers. I have an idea that might reduce this problem. I'm sure that right now there is a rule that states "teams must be balanced etc..", but most of the players don't seem to care about that and enforcing that rule is almost impossible because you can't warn or ban the entire team for team stacking. What I propose is that we change the rules as follows: "if teams are uneven, the player(s) with the lowest XP from the team with more players has to switch teams, until the teams are even". That way it is clear who is responsible for fixing the teams and admins can then enforce this rule. It will be clear who is actually breaking the rules. If the player with the lowest XP is not willing to switch teams, then we can make screenshots of this behavior and those players can be warned, temporally banned, etc, for breaking the rules. Yes, I know that XP doesn't show real skill or what ever, but at least that is some kind of basis for fixing the teams, since FA servers don't have auto balance script, that a lot of other servers have.

I have noticed that a lot of people on BEG#2 server use word 'pizda'. It's a Polish word meaning '****' or 'twat'. It's really offending, even if it's not being used to call someone, also it's not censored. Especially Red Fucin uses a lot of that, I think he's aware of what it means but the other people think he's talking about pizza(o.O). Is there any chance to get that censored? I can add few screenshots if anyone is interested.

Hey guys, kai here. I was just thinking about having an extra mod in F|A recruiting server known as enhanced mod. This mod is very useful as a side pack. It gives the admins very useful commands like !Freeze command which immobilize the player to move, thus it would be useful for people's who block mortar. There is one disadvantage though, if you freeze a player, it freezes the slot number, so if he disconnects, the slot still remain freezed for the entire map. The only solution is volunteers should reconnect so that they attain the same slot number, so that the admin could unfreeze. And that's not it, this mod can help you to make commands, which is not possible in jaymod. Like !Kai, you can set this command if you want to mute / kick / revive me. The main plus point is you can use this command for showing the map cycle of the server, which is a very useful command, which allows the guest to keep playing on the server. As there are 2 cycles, one when less players active and one when more players are playing , we can use 2 commands or maybe make the command as cycle 1 and cycle 2 There are also funny commands like !Owned , this is used when you kill a guy and very is an laughing voice and !Midget, which makes the selected player experience dwarf like experience, but if you face him, he is normal. There are also other commands which can be useful. Also if some 1 does triple kill it shows multi kill and if some1 does multi kill it shows mega kill to all players in the server, which is silent server experience a bit. I also saw that this mod was posted in this forum in 2013 with just 1 reply. I hope this suggestion is well received. Thanking you, Kai
