Hello everyone, I have a problem with my new Nitro RX580. When I install the driver (Radeon Adrenalin 2020 20.12.1), still during the installation, I get a black screen and I cannot see anything more, neither HDMI nor DVI. When restarting the system, it becomes black when Windows start. I can see initial flag but nothing else. This is my config: Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i7 2700K @ 3.50GHz Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology RAM: 16,0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 800MHz Motherboard: Gigabyte Technology Co. File Name: ET DemoView Edition File Submitter: SunLight File Submitted: 11 Mar 2012 File Category: Software ET DemoView Edition by SunLight This is an alternative ET version with some extra features for demo reviewing. I made it at first because on Linux I couldn't use image-et to rewind demos, later I compiled it for Windows too, because I liked the new features, and I wanted to use it instead of image-et, which is a great tool but more movie-making oriented The main purpose of this modified version is to check possible cheaters demos, but you might like such features as demo unlagg

So perhaps a stupid question but im planning on adding another RAM stick into my motherboard, however im wondering if there are any specific requirements to be met other than it fitting the board and being the same specs as the already present RAM. For example do I need to do any installs/setups after having it installer or is it more a plug and boot thing where it just works? Also for games or stuff like steam which sometimes does a hardware check for 2FA for example, does it need to get updated or should that be fine as it is a 'relatively' minor upgrade? Just want to m

Hey guys. I was trying to upgrade my Win 7 Pro 64 bit to Win 10 Pro (in huge delay, yes.), but for some reason I got error message about my Windows is not Geniue.. Install of win 10 stopped at the very end of it, and now I'm stuck with Win 7 Pro 64bit but not geniue and need to enter a valid CD key. problem is my windows were geniue before.. and the install deleted whole restore points I've made before it. Any help ?

This will be my 2nd complete build that I've done. The first one I did back in 2008-2009 after graduating high school (yes I'm getting old ). A friend who has been into PC's a long time helped pick out the parts and helped me put it together. Back in 2016 I did a semi new build. I think I bought new case, gpu, hard drives, monitors and maybe psu. The other parts were bought 2nd hand from my friend who was building a new pc so we just kinda threw his ram, mobo, and cpu in there. Recently my gpu died. (MSI R9 390). This got me really considering a new build since I didn't build a wh

A problem of lag / spikes of ping? There is many reasons causing issues on Internet connectivity, and spikes of pings. One of them it the corruption of TCP/IP stack, due to various installations of softwares using (or changing) network settings/configuration, DNS issues or network issues after installing VPN or firewall or after removing malware/virus. This is how you can fix the problem of spikes of ping. Windows Vista/7/8/10 - Open elevated command prompt (in search box type "cmd" and right click on command prompt programm - "Run as Administrato

So Windows 10 is here, free to current windows subscribers. Sounds wonderful Went to install it however and was given the Microshaft once again. It looks so sweet and pretty as it begins its automated process. "Sit back and relax," it says, so I did. Big cheesy smile on my face as it reached 24% completion. Then for no particular reason during the install, it reboots. I think to myself even though it was only at 83% copying files, it might be normal. Wrong. It comes back up and says "attempting to restore your previous version of windows." Which is cool, it has a built in restore just

After a discussion with @ogeazy and @HeadhunterZ I decided to share my current build with everyone else. I had multiple discussions with @MaxPower and @Mufasa before I came up with my final build. I want to point out a few different points before people start talking about how much money I spent or how I over did everything. First off, I only do a major build like this every 8 years or so. This means that over the next 8 years I need this build to keep up anything I throw at it. I also run my PC 24/day 7/days a week. So if you bring it back down to price per day or year, it is much more reason

Hello all, thought I would start my first gaming PC Build during this isolation, my intention to keep it budget friendly and still hit my main objective of 60 FPS in most games at Ultra/1080 P settings. I will be updating this thread constantly through out my build as I am curious my self how it will turn out and maybe you will find this build interesting like me. EDIT #1: April 6th. 2020 Purchased the following components: Also 3 Pack 120 mm cooling fan for $14.99 - https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B072LDYKQ6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=

Hi Guys, Haven't played much in the last couple of months, and now because of Corona i have to work from home. So this morning I ate my egg, drank some milk and booted my pc only to see it crash and not recover. It is quite old and in need of replacement so i've decided to buy/build a new pc. I want to spend roughly 1000 euro's. Besides gaming i will be using it for Photoshop so it should have some decent rams. Would love to hear your recommendations as I'm quite green in this department. ~Reallity

SO, for some reason, DD is not enabled on Realtek Drivers. There is a work around using an older, patched driver. I wonder if anyone has tried this on here, or thinks it's legit and does Windows Restore roll back Driver changes? THe problem is that mopst of these links are several years old. I suppose I can just uninstall and reinstall the newest drivers if there are issues. These are some links that go over the process https://www.gizdev.com/get-dolby-atmos-sound-system-dts-audio-with-realtek-mod-driver/ https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/unlocked-realtek-hd-au

Right now, I have 2 monitors connected via HDMI to the 2 HDMI outputs on my nVidia 1080 GPU using Realteck Digital Audio output via SPDIF/Optical out on the MB to a Polk Audio 5.1 Surround Sound system. If I try to switch my Audio to nVidia, I get no sound, so what am I doing wrong? Or is the what I have now better?

Howdy all! I have been working on putting together an ultra-budget frankenbuild with the potential to upgrade down the road I have never built a computer before... ever I have only the faintest understanding of these things I feel like I'm trying to build my own car XD But for some reason I feel like this should be easy (or at least possible) All I do, more or less, is word process, watch cat videos, and play ET. What I need: Something that works, is upgradable, and beats what I have. Currently on a toshiba

DoubleDragon posted a topic in Software & PC Support
I've been having static in my TV monitor sense the update on Windows 10 build 17763 and was getting annoyed with my desktop recorder having static + sound lag I turned this on & it went away https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/coreaudio/spatial-sound This is what gets me is it's made for headset wouldn't have even thought of turning this on until after reading these highlighted lines Windows Sonic for Audio Renderers Many audio renderers target a Windows Audio Session API (WASAPI) IAudioClient endpoint, where the application feeds buffers of -
Problem is at when double click it will start part of process (rundll.exe) and starts ocupying prosessor 50% then it needs to second double click to start et. Also when closing that et, rundll.exe remains running and taking 50% prosessor time. Other programs and games running normaly. Fresh game, copy of et from memory stick all the same thing. Not sure when this started. All easy solutions is tested from windows side (reinstall windows is not an option). Same thing on my other pc and laptop also so its not just ops.

This is for all of the folks running Windows 10 with the October update (v1809). It went FUBAR and erased files, and gaming performance and driver compatibility has been abysmal so far, but now there's more to add to the list! Windows update KB4482887 was recently pushed to everyone running v1809, and there's been reports of it killing performance of all games on systems powered by both Intel and AMD CPUs, and GPUs from Intel, nVidia, and AMD. Basically everyone. It's also reported to affect mouse input lag. For now, Microsoft is recommending uninstalling the update- but as far as I'm
