I need to see the exact message that appears when the wall is breached and I can fix the waypoints 👍 (same issue as classic server).

More maps where allies are defending, drawing larger maps, when is more than 20 players, because in such a snatch there is a problem to exit spawn for allies with such a number of players + arty spam, mortar, pf, and it is impossible to win.

Undecided on Fata Morgana - I like the map, definitely one for 20+ players. Not sure if it'd be a server killer or prove a success. Would be interesting to see some other thoughts on that one.

 

Suggestions to remove, and find something to replace:

 - 1944 Overlord - seems too Axis biased when busy

 - River Port - just personal opinion, hate this one 😄

 

Would appreciate some thoughts on these ones.

Here is some map changes I'd like to see (if it's possible ofc):

 

1) Add map: Haunted Mansion Final

 

2) In the map Fuel Dump, would it be possible to:

> Remove the buildable Axis CP at the beginning of the map. The CP in the isolated barracks on top of the ill in the first part of the map. Since the respawn time is so short, it gives a too great advantage to Axis in early game.

> Remove the anti-trickjumping protection. This is actually a suggestion from a server regular (Yid). Apparently, there is an invisible wall preventing Allies from doing the big trickjump which allows them to reach the Fuel Dump before the last gate is destroyed. Since players always complain when this map is voted, I think giving a little boost to Allies wouldn't hurt (so that the map doesn't always last until the very end).

My opinion:

> Fata Morgana: interresting concept. But personnally, I prefer more standard maps with an objective that progresses and which takes place in a realistic background ^_^ I think this will have the same kind of reactions than Baserace, few people will really love it, but most won't. Might be worth giving it a try though.

> River Port: I like this one. Pretty large, so that 10v10 can happen rather smoothly (except at the last submarine lol).

@RendeL not sure about this, but is it still you in charge of the updates on S1?

Do you think it would be possible to post here an updated list of all the maps in rotation after each update? (like Kermit does for Beg2).

If you lack the time or anything, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be happy to help if I can ;) And we have many admins on the server who, I'm sure will be happy too.

The existing map have been uploaded via a different user / password so I can't remove them. Railgun will also need removing via the server's config files since it's not a map we can delete.

I agree with @Cross Marian, except of the Glider map. It used to be on Silent 1 some time ago, it was not popular and people usually left if I remember correct. The other maps is a nice addition though! Long time since I played Bridges. miss it!

Server needs a bit of a tidy up so we don't have too many .pk3s. I can only delete maps which I have uploaded, @daredevil will need to delete some of the less popular maps before I go ahead and add any Xmas ones :)

 

Maps to remove based off feedback:

 - fa_temple

 - fabase_v2

 - fa_oasis_b2

 - hog_b12

 - mlb_daybreak

 

That should tidy things up nicely to allow for some Xmas maps, and maybe another changeup in the new year :)

 

Bridges, xmas fueldump and northpole are awesome Xmas maps that would be great to see.
