I use ETL and hunkmeg 512 in my target line.

 

Everything is fine with any map on HC and NQ1.

Yes most player will have these settings changed from the default 56 megs.

ET is such an old game, I guess PC back then were running on much lower memory. 🙂

ET Legacy force the hunkmegs at 256 by default if im not mistaken.

The default is 128.

You should have seen kicks on NQ 1 for hunk. You think most of them should be changed and based on kicks, i think 30% haven’t. Sorry mate love the map but can’t loose players.

lol totally understand. New version still being worked on and should be avi soon.

Added on Hardcore and slowly will add on all servers. As usual mate, kick ass job! Players gonna play with joy and server admins be left in peace :)

Use the default as stated before

 

/seta com_hunkMegs 128 

 

56 is not a base 2 number in another words you're not using the double of 32b graphic card renderer memory

if you wanna try lower go for 64

Hello @Dynasty , I wonder if it would be possible to make some optimizations in the first stage of the map. Like add some VIS to prevent all players rendering at all times on a big server. I know it's a very open area so probably difficult to optimize well.

 

Used r_shownormals 1 to see that even players in spawns are rendered.

Yes I'm planning on changing first phase quit a bit. Especially reworking flag building changing the layout a bit. Just have to get into it and take the time ;)
