I am sure most of you have no idea who I am, so heres the quick and dirty version.........

My name is Tim Edwards and I live in Maryland (East Coast USA for my buds around the world).
I have a wife and 2 sons, ages 4 and 9 years.
I am a graphic designer specializing in print and web design.
I work as a network consultant for 4 companies, and do computer repairs as a small side business for about 20 clients.
I am pretty laid back and try not to take life too seriously.

Performance

OK... I have looked around for performance figures that may be creeping in on black ops, and I am NOT liking what I am hearing.

I have seen numerous reports ( one post was 47 PAGES long at the time I looked) of MASSIVE performance issues showing up and making the game almost unplayable. has anyone seen anything like this?

Please post your system specs with your answer.

Looks like I wont be able to attempt this one until I upgrade my proc.

I decided to fire up BF2 this weekend, and I found that our server is offline.

Is anyone still playing?

Are we running a server again?

oh well...... I will be around, hope to see a few of ya out there.

Medal of Honor BETA - Who else is playing?

I got into the Medal of Honor multiplayer beta last night for a few hours, and I kinda like it!!!! It kinda feels like Bad Company 2 meets Modern Modern warfare. The graphics are pretty good, and the game play is fast paced. I was really surprised at how well my system handled the game considering I can barely muster 25-30 fps @ 1024x768 (medium - low settings) in BC2, I was pulling 40+ fps @ 1680x1050 (all settings maxed) in a full 24 player server. I haven't had the time to really look deep into how complete the game is at this stage, but I definitely saw a few bugs last night that I want to revisit tonight. I did notice that what destruction there is in the game (not much there, but some small stuff) looked a lot better than the destruction in BC2 ( didn't look like pre-rendered destruction).

Anyway, is anyone else playing the beta right now? I do have my clan tags on while I play, but I haven't seen any other FA players yet.
