When not working, spending time with my family. I coach my kids in softball, and football. I love all sports... especially College football and cheering on my UT VOLS. I am also a big fan of the Miami Heat, Florida Marlins and Miami Dolphins. I am a native of Nashville, TN, but moved to South Florida and lived near West Palm Beach, FL for 12 years. I decided to move back home to Nashville in 2008. I miss the beach and deep sea fishing so much. I am sure someday I will retire and find myself with my feet in the sand, and a cold beer in my hand.

  1. Happy Birthday BuLL!

  2. Happy Birthday BuLL!

  3. For only the 21st time in Major League Baseball history, Phil Humber of the White Sox throws a perfect game. Major League Baseball has been around 143 years. Twice in the bottom of the 9th Humber had 3 balls and no strikes, but pitched his way out.

  4. Happy Birthday BuLL!

  5. For you football fans, you have to to turn on ESPN and watch Maryland take on Miami. Maryland has the coolest uniforms I have seen. In fact they have about 5 other different combinations that they will be wearing this season. I heard about them changing the uniforms over the summer. Cant wait to see the black on black, on black uniforms.

  6. My power just went out. What a wicked storm. First rain we have seen in over three weeks. This is just the beginning of things to come over the next 48 hours here in the mid south.

  7. These storms are actually coming from Tropical Storm Lee believe it or not.

  8. Ok for my Alabama friends whom have been bugging me about not bragging about your Tide.... Bama looked like the #2 ranked team today beating up on Nick Saban's alma mater Kent St 42-0. Ole Miss is in control of their game leading 13-0 over BYU. Lets hope LSU can beat Oregon tonight..... and I am sure Vandy will win as they play a school, Elon I have never heard of. I thought maybe for a sec they were playing a private high school or something... lol. SEC is the BEST!!!

      Hulk

This seems more then a status but more fitting as topic for sports category ehh

  9. Our high today is near 102, and higher in some areas in and around Nashville. We will have about a 30 degree temp change in just 2 days as our high temp will only be 72 on Monday. This will be one of those weather events that just proves to us native Tenn people that if you just wait 5 min, the weather will change.

  10. Fairview Yellow Jackets continued their quest for their first ever undefeated season in school history by beating a scrappy Lewis County team 34-14 on the road to go to 3-0 on the young season. A late TD pass from Ramey to Moore sealed the game with about 7 min remaining in the game to give the Jackets the 34-14 lead. The game took almost 4 hours to play tonight due to so many penalties against both teams. It was a very physical game with a lot some of the hardest hitting this season.

  11. Fairview 34 Lewis County 14. Game got a little close early in the fourth when Lewis made it 28-14. Key player ejected with 10 seconds left. Lewis got a little dirty. Big plays by Julian Franklin, and Deondre Moore.

  12. At the half, Fairview 14 Lewis County 6. Very hard fought game, but filled with penalties. Logan Cavender was hurt in the game with a busted forehead, but is up and walking. Lewis is a hard hitting team.

  13. I Know it's a pre season game, but the Titans are blowing out the Saints on Bourbon Street 32-6 late in the fourth quarter. Jake Locker looked great in this game and has all pre season long.

  14. Dale Jr. has signed a five-year contract extension to remain with Hendrick Motorsports through the end of the 2017 season. This news just came in. Thought I would post it for you JR fans.

  15. Just a few more days of heat here in the mid south, and the 90's go away for the summer beginning on Labor Day where the highs will be around 81. College Football season begins tonight. It's hard to believe.
