#280488 New skin on forum added

Posted daredevil on 25 March 2012 - 06:54 AM

I have added new default skin on forums. If you like to use old one, then click "Change Theme" from the left bottom corner and select the theme which you like. Off course VIP members will always have additional skins available to them.

You can also change color of the present skin as you like from the color picker available on right top corner. Posted Image

#280857 Enemy Territory W:ET Master server list is back online

Posted daredevil on 26 March 2012 - 09:34 AM

Finally, ID got some time to fix the ET master server list issue which was down since last few months. For those who are using patches or work around might want to remove it since master server list is working back again.

1. If you are using modified ET.exe downloaded from XYZ site, please replace it with official 2.6b ET.exe
2. If you have modified your 'host' file in windows, please remove it since master server list is back online.

If you need help, feel free to ask for it.

#116701 F|A MENU SERVERS CLEAN & UPDATE

Posted NippleSlip on 16 September 2010 - 11:56 AM

I post this for the benefit of the Mac Users community..

When attempting to upgrade to the new list, DO NOT EXTRACT the files by going into the applications folder on the dock and replacing the files there.
IT WONT WORK.

To make it function properly, go
1)Macintosh HD
2)Users
3)Your username
4)Library
5)Application Support
6)Wolfenstein ET

and extract the files there... should work :)

#101129 Free programs To help your computer Lag/speed

Posted JoeDirt on 19 July 2010 - 05:08 PM

All these programs are useless and don't give you any speed/lag improvements only thing they do is add another process that your comp has to run.

#90206 Public Etpro Server

hope its campaign....

#89712 Public Etpro Server

Posted SuicidalManiac on 14 June 2010 - 02:13 AM

question? is the etpro server sw or campaign? SW resets xp every map, camp does at the end of the campaign (up to 10 map campaigns work on etpro). I'm curious as while there are only like 3 servers left in the usa running etpro, all are SW last I checked. Played on 2 euro camp servers lately, but the lag was just too much. Our old server was camp and I loved it as SW was more for comp warmups. Etpro camp servers were the place to play when all we had was shrub mod, etpro sw servers and etpro camp servers. I miss the old days, and if this server is running 10 map camps, I'll freaking hang in spec 24/7 when not playing just to help populate the server. Shit, I'd give my left nut for a populated etpro camp server based in the usa nowadays.

Posted AcidParadox on 11 June 2010 - 09:49 PM

Hello Gentlemen!!   (and ladies of course)

Well i had this idea since i applied for this wonderful clan , and i wanted to make some wallpaper to share with you!

I hope you like it!

This was done in Adobe Photoshop Cs3 (Cs4 and Cs5 are bad!)

The wallpaper is pretty simple but i think it looks good like that, the size is 1600x1200 (too big huh?)
if anyone needs other size , please tell me.

I will make more wallpapers with more details , this was just an appetizer ( i took about 15 mins.)

#76592 Finished my comp

Posted OnionKnight on 18 April 2010 - 01:13 AM

Ya its completely done. Lol boo to the cable management, its a nightmare in there but I am not going to bother (I already tied what i can with zipties). Everything put in there was a tight squeeze from the video cards to the hard drives, they all barely fit (its a facking $17 dollar case). Luckily my temps are cool and steady (thanks to all the fans). Everything was cheap so don't expect it to look fancy.

The total cost at the end of the day was: $863.09 Canadian (been building this thing since Feb trying to find the right deals on things. The video cards are almost 50% of the entire cost lawl).

_________________________________________________________
Logisys Case - $17
500 gb Seagate 7200 rpm SATA2 HD - $49.99
Antec Earthwatts 650W Power Supply -$59.99
Samsung SH-S243D/BEBE 24X Black DVD Writer - $19.99
Patriot Sector 5 4GB DDR3 -1333 CL 7-7-7-20 Dual Channel (2GB X 2) - $119.99
AMD Athlon II X4 620 - $108.99
MSI 790X-G45 ATX AM3 DDR3 CROSSFIRE - $89.99
XFX Radeon HD 5770 1 GB - $174.99
GIGABYTE HD 5770 1 GB - $154.99
Silenx iXtrema Pro Direct Touch Heatsink - $15.99
Fans, Speed Controller, 5.25" 120 mm Fan Bay Adapter and Misc lights: $51.18

Before:

Lol nice red cathodes in case

Posted Image

Stock heat sink

After:

Posted Image

Added some extra fans in the top (i drilled a small slot for a little roof fan. Just having a single small roof fan makes a ton of difference for circulation) and side. Everything is in a tight squeeze lol.

Posted Image

2nd Video card costed me $154.99. Crossfired XFX HD 5770 1GB with GIGABYTE HD 5770 1 GB. Works out fine. Failed spreading the thermal paste but whatever got the job done. I always sucked with spreading thermal paste anyways (Nortuna NT-H1 Pro grade thermal compound). Heatsink was some cheap silenx brand for $15.99. Beats stock cooler at least lol

Posted Image

Removed cathodes because the space was so tight, I could barely fit the 2nd video card in
