when i play ET there are no other applications running i mean the ones like chrome , skype etc... theres also noone else on my wifi except for me. although looks like theres alot of crap running in the background but seems like it doesnt effect my network. what do you guys think is the best fps for me?

hi guys, so i have this connection interupted problem. but not always. sometimes i can run a game with just a small lag but not to annoying. and sometimes its just non-playable. all of my screenshots, mtr results and speedtest are in the attached files. com_maxfps "125" com_hunkMegs "512" rate "40000" snaps "40" cl_maxpackets "100" cl_timenudge "0" cl_doubletapdelay "0" pb_security "0" logfile "1" pb_sleep 500 heres a little piece of my cfg which i think effect my connection speed ( not sure lol ) i also tried playing around with the max_fps and maxpackets. i have a wireless modem which i got of my provider, its in the closet where all the electricity switches are ( dont know the name in english ) its behind a door, but after its in a ~~5meters~~ straight line to my pc. which has an USB to get wifi. so no built-in wireless lan adapter. my PC specs are: Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-4790K Aantal processor kernen ( sockets , i think ) 4 CPU frequentie 4x 4000 MHz Cache L1 4x 64 KB L2 4x 256 KB L3 8192 KB RAM: 16 gb Motherboard: MSI Z97 ... well, the only differences i've seen so far are the ones i see as a "small" difference.. like: double jump > max skills in each class 4 or 9 > poisoned knives etc. also i think the silent server is slower paced then the NQ one. i could have this wrong.

hi guys, i have a gaming PC and i can run all new games on best graphics. so i dont think its necessary to tell you all the specs. ( will do if needed ) monitor : 1080p , 24" , refresh rate 60hz. network : i have a wireless modem so im using WIFI. my internet speed is 30mb/sec. thats what my provider says... game graphics: well, i like the best and my PC can handle the best easily.. game resolution : full screen sens: 2.8... /// inverted mouse crosshair : #5 ( the dot only ) colour: red FOV : 110 binds i can do myself. if i forgot something please let me know. note* i do have some lagging issues sometimes.. i think its my wifi. i tried playing with the value of cl_maxpacks and rate and stuff but TBH i dont know what im doing and how it works. thanks in advance -flow

yo guys, what i always wondered was the "Big" differences all the server mods have. i mean like why is there jay, nq , etpub, silent. why isnt there just like 1 normal mod and etpro. can someone explain the biggest differences between all? i always play on NQ because it plays more comfortable IMO. dont know why.. maybe this is a stupid question i just dont get the it.

I played ET for a long time like 6 years ago. and now while i was bored i decided with a friend who i played ET with, to get back in it. i WAS a pretty good player and have been in a lot of clans / teams. also played a lot of scrims. now in the last 2 days playing i noticed my aim is horrible and also forgot most of the objectives on the non regular maps. so thats what my goal is. to get back on my level what i used to be. and in the meantime be active on this forum and make soms virtual friends lol. i do have some lagging issues which im trying to fix, if not im gonna ask your help. cause i saw the help thread to solve lag. well see you probably on the servers. my ingame name will be: .Flow# -flow
