  1. Happy Birthday Armada!

  2. Cowards... I did note the second days head line, Russia has the Olympics coming up. My guess is its Al quaeda trying to soften Russias infrastructure up to kill off people visiting for the Olympics. Lets be realistic, any country that gets awarded the Olympics has a lot of money coming to them from visitors, merchandise etc. These type of attacks given the timing location and openness sounds very typical of an attack method to hinder Russias efforts for the Olympics. Amongst anything, I never undertood how there can be so many suicide bombers out in the world. One would think sooner or later they would run out of people willing to blow themselves up. But I suppose religion has claimed more lives than any other reason in this crazy world. My sympaties go out to those affected.
  3. Pony level is fun, and if anyone was interested the developers answer to critics saying D3 was too "Colourful" lol
  4. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/LordArmada-1125/ Add me on, we can play next times Im around on the game
  5. Total honesty, I have this game myself, and it gets boring, very fast. Legendary drops just suck, and since they are phasing out the Auction house they just crippled the market (Item wise) Fun game, but wears thin fast IMO. Not worth the $60 it costs
  6. I have tried adding the FA group to my Xfire, I was under the asumption it would populate all the known members of that group, but Xfire does not show I have any added "Clans/Groups"? How can I correct this issue? Thanks
  7. Seems you gotta hit it up right at the start of the map, the boards can get damaged I was told in game yesterday.
  8. That is awesome, I found one MLB secret room in the Flame Guard map, but never knew what people were doing at that board to vanish. thanks!
  9. I tend to end up on Maddogs team a lot and have noticed his regular pattern is to drop as much ammo at spawn for everyone then slowly work his way out to the field where everyones needing it. He rarely is noticed activly fighting, he plays his role well. overall I wouldent complain about him as a single spawn dropper, I find its when multiple people like this end up on the same team and REMAIN AT SPAWN that causes such unbalanced teams. Field ops and medics jobs are to drop Ammo and med packs and revive or call air strikes. a Soldiers function is to activly engage the opponent. My largest issue with many players like this, will simply wait around for their ammo/med to regenerate to drop more packs instead of proceeding to play the game.
  10. It IS that specific image that started me on this to begin with. Debrise loooks like a LOT of things, but this one image looks eerily like a up to date for, or satellite. Like I noted in the original post I have no iddea what it is, but its caused myself to theorize After further though, IF Telsa/ or the fishermans were right a thermal blanket woud reflect radio waves... but the timing is all wrong.
  11. A thermal blanket would certianly explain its supposid "changing shape" as noted through numerous of the taken images. As for the Telsa and French Fisherman stories, I included that int he post primarily as alternative theories, however my initial thoughts on those stories was considering the technology that was available at both time periods and as good as Telsa was, both were speaking about Radio waves, and thus is exceptional hard to pin point true original sources, more so back then than now. I have always found space interesting, there is a whole lot of stuff out there and we still know so little about it all.
  12. XFire ID: digitalarmada I tried adding the clan like mentioned in the original first few posts, and xfire site shows me as part/joined the clan but it does not show in my XFire client.
  13. I came across an article on this a few weeks ago and have to admit it has caught my attention. So the back story: On the first shuttle mission to the I.S.S. Flight STS-88 On the shuttle Endeavour, while en route to the I.S.S. recording the surroundings of the flight and the mission the Ship and crew caught some unusual images of an object within Earths upper atmosphere in the polar region of Earth. Original NASA Images: http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/sseop/images/ISD/highres/STS088/STS088-724-66_3.JPG http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/sseop/images/ISD/highres/STS088/STS088-724-67_3.JPG http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/sseop/images/ISD/highres/STS088/STS088-724-68_3.JPG http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/sseop/images/ISD/highres/STS088/STS088-724-69_3.JPG http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/sseop/images/ISD/highres/STS088/STS088-724-70_3.JPG Although they have no official explanation as to what it is, the most prominent theories are natural space debris (a "natural" satellite"), an old cold war satellite, either Soviet or American. After looking in to both theories (Top chosen ones at least) The idea of a piece of natural space debris getting caught in our orbit is next to impossible, as once items from space come within our orbit they are immediatly drawn towards the center, and upon entering the outer higher orbit are almost guaranteed to increase descent towards earth from the gravitational pull. As for the second theory of a cold war satellite, all historical record of satellites from this time, None exist in this design, shape or configuration, or even remotly close. But it does not stop there. Some theories get even wilder. Back in the 1920's Telsa reported receiving radio signals from space in the same area/location as it was later discovered to be the location of this Black Knight object. And later in the 50's french fishermen using Ham radio again reported receiving signals again which seemed to be comming from the same location. Anyone have opinions or thoughts on this? As I noted its rather caught my curiosity.
  14. I will admit this is a personal annoyance with myself as well. When I play and choose a specific funtion to the team, be it medic, engineer, or field ops, I always at best attmpt to serve the team outright, putting frags aside. I understand the frustration, but reality is a field op in spawn is a good thing cause not all classes get full ammo right off the bat. However having one doing nothing but that all game also precludes forward positioning, where ammo is needed most.
  15. Hey folks, Been playing with many for some time now, thought Id make a post here and make an official hello. I a little background on myself. I will soon to be 31 years old at the end of the month, and am a Internet and Network Architect by trade and design. I have traditionally Designed, Developed and Administrated networks through Canada on many large scale companies. Further to this, I am also former Canadian Forces. My love for this game draws back to my love for both Wolfenstein and Doom, the first 2 enjoyed shooters I ever played. I am greatly appreciative there are still people who enjoy this game as much as I do, and look forward to fighting with, or against you soon enough on the servers!
