Not sure where to put this so i figured here would be best.
about 8pm central. the server ping system was acting wierd. EVERYONE'S ping was over 120 of what it usually is. i.e. mine sits at 32 but during this time it was about 150.
it would continue with pings being that high for about 2-3 mins then go back to usually then repeat.
i didnt notice any correlation between someone joining and it happening, it just happened. same with it stopping.
this has been going on for about 30 mins so far. its still doing it. map changing has no effect. so i figure ill bring this to everyone attention to try and figure this out...
the only thing i can think of is a ping attack. but again thats just me and my meager network security talking.
