Maybe he has decided to not play games anymore for personal reasons (needs more time, gf is mad, can't get enough sleep, etc). I'm sure our forums member list is full of people who have quietly quit playing ET but didn't tell anyone. Maybe he found a game he likes more. When I discovered UT2004 I did not play ET anymore for three years. If U3 (the newest game) had been more like UT2004 I would probably still be in the UT community not the ET community.
