You’ve probably drunk from his red Solo cups at parties without knowing it.

Robert Leo Hulseman, inventor of the Solo red cups, died on Dec. 21 at age 84.

The family man started working at the Solo Red Cup Company when he was 18 years old and worked his way up to CEO, inheriting the business from his father in 1980.

“He was known as an innovator, a hands-on manufacturing expert, and an industry pioneer,” Hulseman’s obituary read.

Are those red cups american thing or what? I've seen them in american movies and tv series but never being used in real life. Atleast not here in Finland. Only white cardboard cups or clear plastic cups here :D
