cant connect to jay1 and jay2

I cant connect to jay1 and jay2 tried several things restarted the router restarted my computer installed and download ET on a diffirent drive but I still cant connect to these servers console errors: 

unwanted challenge response recieved.  ignored.
dup connect recieved.  ignored 


thing is internet is fine I can connect all sites online and for example I can connect to jay3 but for some reason I cant to jay1 and 2 since a hour or 90`min ago orso and I did nothing so no idea why this is

Dfighter is on Jay 1 at this time.

 

I googled his error statement and found several references, including the ET Client source code : https://github.com/id-Software/Enemy-Territory/blob/master/src/client/cl_main.c  

 

The "unwanted challenge" and "dup connect" are responses to packets that the client should not be receiving from the server at a particular time.

 

This could be from out-of-order packets received at the wrong time because others were lost in transmission or some such problem. 

 

The few forum replies to this and similar packet-errors mention resetting wired or wireless routers and making sure that ET and PB can get through the firewall.  One poster said that he only had his problem when trying to connect to PB-enabled servers.  Perhaps his PB was temporarily fubar. :)

 

Maybe DFighter will post here and tell us how he got onto Jay 1.  I have had network problems that were only solved by restarting my computer. 

 

(TBS shows him getting on Jay1 about 1.5 hours after his post.  That was after he tried Beginners #1 and had a ping 530 there!!!  He is close to B1 and should have had a ping more like 30).

easy I connected after 2 hours again and I could without issue

on mtr it showed the host from amsterdam to the usa the first US host on my mtr report had issues :P
