River management where you live

Yo! Just finished my studies (Master's degree in Continental Aquatic Environments aka rivers and lakes) and I would like to leave my country to work in Europe. 

 

More specifically, I'm specialized in rivers management and restoration and that's why I'm looking for structures who are potentially recruiting "river managers" but it's really difficult for me to gather information about this kind of companies, simply because I mainly speak french and english and it would require knowledge in more languages, also because the information is hardly accessible on the internet, and professionals don't talk to each others that much in this kind of field. Also, I tend to value the opinion of people here more than I value a random information on the internet.

 

So if you have some time to spare, could you please tell me who/what is managing the rivers in your area/region, or in your country (link of websites or contact methods maybe)? Ultimately I'm even taking contacts if you personally know someone who is managing or somehow locally taking care of rivers, if you want to share it ofc.

Try looking in The Netherlands
Becides we have much expertise with rivers and water, there are several company's in this industry here.
And generally when you speak English the language barrier isnt much of a problem either.
For exact company's you can use google most company's are pretty big and have international projects and interests.
if you really want I could check for some local company's or those who are in this industry, but I guess if you search with google you'll be fine finding them.
