The Walking Dead Season 7

Recommended Posts

AMC's The Walking Dead doesn't return until October, some five months from now. But according to actor Norman Reedus, it will be worth the wait. He told Entertainment Weekly recently that he thinks the new season is so good that it will make the world explode.

"Trust me. I think probably the planet is going to explode," he said. "That's my feeling. It's so good. Every time we go on a promotional tour talking about what's going to come, we all say 'Oh my God, it's amazing. I can't wait for you to see it.'"

Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon on the show, went on to say that he is continually surprised and impressed by the storylines the writers come up with.

"It blows my mind," he said. "It just continually reaches a new plateau every single time, and this is the highest plateau we've ever been. So just wait. It's worth the wait, trust me."

The Walking Dead's Season 6 finale ended with one heck of a cliffhanger, and some fans aren't too happy about it. Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead, recently said he understands why some people might be upset, but he's not apologizing for it.

He added that the Season 6 cliffhanger ending will pay off in Season 7.

"I'm not sorry that we did it," he said. "I don't regret that we did it, because [executive producer Scott M. Gimple] and I were trying to tell a story, and that's what we and the entire creative team decided to do. But it is what it is. We're working that much harder to come back for Season 7 and make sure that the payoff is worth the dread of the uncertainty that we've given you over the months that we're on break."
