Hint : You can also include the ~ in the text mode.  

 

I was able to put the line from my recruit.cfg into the text mode for G2 that way.  It opens the console, prints the lines and I just have to press enter to send the message in public.  

 

Odd things will happen if you press an "open the console" G-key again before pressing enter.   :)

I had only learned that recently, after I re-downloaded the software. It had disappeared, for some reason!

 

Poking around for the release date of my G110 KB, I found that the G-series can be used with a subset of the LUA scripting language.   :o
