Here is what it has in it : It is a DELL XPS 8900 (I KNOW!!!!) but I've had trouble with everyone I made, so... I couldn't even buy the parts for this thing at $699. Anyway here is what it has: Intel Core i7 6700 CPU 16GB RAM 1 TB HDD Nvidia GeForce GTX 745 4GB graphics card Windows 10 64 DVD+ BLuRay player Wireless Bluetooth Media card reader HDMI and USB 3.0 Wireless Keyboard and laser mouse Two year warranty You tell me if this is good or not. I haven't kept up with PC stuff for 6 or 7 years. I just want it to copy and paste and beat NormanCorn in COD4. People can't even buy that card, It's supplied to manufacturers. But It's not a bad video card at all. You'll have to see how it does in games. Power supply is good for what You have, You may need larger with better video card. The new $300 quad-core processor(3.4 GHz) with 8 MB cache! But CPU is only 65 Watts. Not bad, I would have gotten a 95 Watt CPU(More muscle). One TB of traditional 7200 RPM storage. It seems that everyone is buying Solid State hard drives now, They're amazingly fast. You could build good rig if you buy in parts and make it yourself. Keep 1TB HD and add one more SSD of 512GB if you can which goes around 130$ or so. Then see the speed of machine. I don't think a i7 is necessary for gameing. A i5 new gen would do the trik also and is cheaper. (assuming that it's only for gaming and not rendering/video editing) If you like to build it your self PM me maybe i can help with it? It was sick when I started it up. I ran tests and found that part of the southbridge wasn't working. Returned it too. I just noticed something that is very very wrong on here: I said the Dell cost $699, that is wrong, it cost $799. It was $200 off the original price. Sorry! I went to Fry's and got parts and built my own again. It's not as fast as the first Dell was but it is very stable. I bought the following parts: Intel i5-4590 3.3 GHz CPU Pair of Corsair Vengeance DDR3 2400MHz 8GB Ram ASUS Z97-A Motherboard Western Digital 1TB HDD PNY GeForce 750ti Video Card Windows 10 Home 64 Windows 10 for Dummies 2- 64GB USB3.0 Flash Drives All of that cost me $849. I installed all that into my old Cooler Master Case with the 750W Power Supply with the 7 fans. The reason I went i5 was, cost for one and they didn't have any 6th Generation stuff to complete the system. No MB or DDR4 RAM. I have finished all the installs of my software and it is running very well. I get 200FPS in COD4 but I lock it at 125 FPS. The game plays flawlessly and my scores are starting to go up. No more locking up and glitching. I actually get kills with the G3 Silent rifle. I amazed at how fast I run now in the game. I was always in the rear before. I have only read a little of the Dummies book, but I have already learned how to get rid of those apps and make the desktop more like XP. I can actually copy and paste now! Even onto the FA website. Was one of the best in it's time, still handles newer releases out today too. Rest all in regular hard drive. Take image back up of SSD. So if you loose you restore from image. Lot's of image backing software's. I just stick to free ones. Get 12GB RAM at least.
