Solid rig, have you seeked up some G-Sync monitors yet? And I´m wondering if the Sandforce based SSD has lost some speed while ageing?

Thx and i did not yet

Weh, that build looks a bit weird, are u doing some kind of rendering stuffs or some video editing on having 32 GB of RAM and i7 CPU, considering even a 16GB of ram is way over anyone's head to fill for any kind of games needed currently and over the next 3 years for sure. Don't really fancy that much i7's as they re purely overpriced and can be easily matched with a decent i5 4670 or 4690k versions that do the job anyway.

Decent GPU, have the same, have u tested for RAM of it? Normally they have a fault of having only 3.5GB instead of 4, as its manufacture problem.

How does that watercooling system works out for u, consdering experts dont really fancy it that much as apparently isnt so much better than the regular air cooling, if u dont spend hundreds of bucks into a proper water setup.

Any of todays games don´t take over 3.5GB of VRAM on FHD, so the issue is overheated. Only way to get 4GB full is to play at 4k but on that reso any game wouldn´t play on acceptable framerates anyways...

Yeh im completely aware of it, just stating out what most of the users on 970 have been reporting and shipping back, even tho the entire fault is overrated due to no games currently using that amount of VRAM. I would assume that 4k would only be acceptable currently for some good quality movies and even for that u need a proper 4K supported monitor.

Hi,

When i bought everything the prices of the ram were almost the same for 16 or 32 were i bought it so thats why i got the 32 .

I must say that the watercooling works very well in this case and the i7 is between 10/15 degrees cooler so its helps........

i have almost the same second pc only no watercooling so i did some checking with it.

the 970 i'm happy with the card and i must say its a beast so no problems here. a lot of friends of my have the same card and problems either.

if you play the new games like cod AW or bfh then its a very good card.i had a 560 before this one so its makes a difference then :D

Oh, sweet deal then tho, otherwise wasting extra cash on so much ram is pointless. I assume ur i7 is a normal version and not the K for OC, tho it doesn't really require the water cooling and any decent air one would do the job. Waiting at myself for one extra cable, 2x4 pin from PSU to CPU, had to order extension as the stock was too short <_<
