just playen/RA Posted February 24, 2015 Share Posted February 24, 2015 I run ET on a Win7 PC without any issues. I would be wary about going back to XP unless that is all you use that PC for. What is your memory usage percentage without any programs running? Especially with new hardware capable of UEFI booting under 10s If not Win8.1 in desktop mode then Win7 is the best Win that came out so far. Even don´t have to install drivers, just allow Automatic Updates and use programs as Admin, jsut give it a try- RMB click on program shortcut, properties, choose Compatibility and tick the "Run as admin" box once. Only place to use WinXP is on specialised equipment on factories in my opinion.
