So this awesome person wanted to buy a new one. She looked around and around and around and finally one caught her eye! It was reasonably (at least she thought) priced and in stock on Best Buy's website! So with the power of the mighty card of many credits she made an order with the explicit promises of delivery within one day and that the card would not be charged until the item shipped! How wrong those promises were. >: ( So the awesome person had the day off for two days and waited patiently for her package to arrive. But arrive it did not! Upon the second day she checked the best buy account to see that the order was still in progress and said it was still in stock! The card had been charged, but no delivery date was available.When she called customer service they assured her that they were just waiting on shipping info and that normally shipping takes 3-5 days. How could this be?! The website States in quite plain english that no, delivery is normally 1-3 days at most for GTA locations! Le gasp! And and and! The card wasn't supposed to be charged until the item was SHIPPED! :/ Again she waited and waited. Growing sad by the length of time it took for the shipping information to go through. It was upon the day she went back to work that things would soon become quite dreadful indeed! Upon her lunch breakm to her great dismay, she discovered that Best Buy had CANCELED her order. But that was impossible! Where was the phone call? The email to confirm?! Did they forget about wee little awesome person?! So on the phone she went and called two different customer service reps! One had no idea what to say and wouldn't stop saying sorry! Stupid Canada. The other told her that her order was discontinued and there were no more in stock. Even though the ORDER WAS CONFIRMED TO BE IN STOCK SPECIFICALLY FOR HER. The representative even told her that the website was broken and still showing 4 in stock, but awesome person could clearly see the stock says 0. After all, she and three others ordered them. Then to top it all off it would take 3-5 days to give her money back.....-.- For the rest of the day awesome person didn't feel so awesome. She was sad and cranky and stuck at work. Appaaaaarently not all was lost! You see, when awesome person got home later that night, to her surprise there was a shiny new thingy waiting for her! It was the most beautiful thingy she had ever seen! it made the first one look like poo! It turns out, this awesome friend took his day off and searched high and low for a better laptop and even set it up when he got home! Awesome person was so happy she vowed to do all the dishes and cleaning for the next year. Probably not really but shh. TLDR Best Buy sucks donkey peckers and smaller competition rocks. Also <3 BFF. I hve a new laptop. The one I wanted was 2300 after taxes... Sid found this at Canada computers AND a cooling pad...for 1700 after taxes o.O It's nicer too! Here are the Specs: $1450 (on sale!) Want me some "my precious" also Don´t know much about laptops but in the review 870M and 880M were competeing with desktop GPUs. For a mobile GPU temps look cool also, heck my desktop Twin Frozr idels at around 40C;) Steelseries keyboard looks nice and I´ve no doubt works smoothly?
