Too many hacker nubs make it not fun. I remember a while back they did some adjustments to VAC and 2 million people got banned for wh lol !. I still play every once in a while, yes there are cheaters...but it seems there are some in every game...I never have a problem finding a good server, there are soo many CS:S servers, your find a hacker...go to a different server. I suggest if you have never played this game before , give it a try..You might like it also check out DOD:S its like counter strike but ww2 based weaponry.. and if anyone has either of these games or any HL2 engine based game check out this mod called Age Of Chivalry http://www.age-of-chivalry.com/ or the steam addon page @ http://store.steampowered.com/app/17510 Its a mid evil based mod that i really enjoy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Octavarium Posted July 15, 2010 Share Posted July 15, 2010 I've played source for a while now, and although there are many hackers and such the servers I go on I never see hackers... ever, guess I just got lucky haha. But yeah the new patching of the game was awesome because they fixed all the ridiculous hit boxes and now things actually make sense. I still play it everyday but not for too long because I'm not really that good either lol but I do notice that playing source before ET makes my aim and tracking in ET a lot smoother and better just because you realize how easy it is after playing a game like source where you have to control your sprays and can't just rush in all the time or your already dead haha.
