Hello all, here are my ideas!

 

 

 

1. Flamethrower do abit more damage "because I notice I can hold a flame to enemy face and it seem like its an icethrower not flame lol

2. Panzerfraust little bit less missile gravity "so missile dosent fall so fast at a distance"

3.Grenade do abit more damage "I think enemy can stand close to one and not explode"

4. Landmine doesent seem to blow enemy up "just seems to give them super sonic speeds"

5.Recharge speed for dyno/satchel abit faster maybe.

6. Replace baserace with desert bacerase.

7.modern weapon skins mod. "would be cool i have played on a server with this mod very nice"

8.fun vsays

9.exchange goldrush with a newer version if there is one.

10.killspree voice change if possible, that dudes voice getting stuck in my head and every where i go hes there....KILLING SPREE. LOL

 

 

Thanks for looking, I have more ideas but better not make a book out of this topic :mellow:

I see a few issues here...
 

  1. Weapon skins mod will lag the server, regardless of the number of players. We don't need any of that. Remember: frag not lag!
  2. Goldrush exchange, depends on which version you are talking about. Versions like SUPER Goldrush are known to be very buggy, and the server will lock on that map, unable to continue rotation. Goldrush GALS however would be feasible- but that is on rotation if I'm not wrong.
  3. Killing spree voice is modside. And besides, with more and more people turning to NQ and Silent... the original voices like "M-M-MONSTER KILL!" is pretty awesome. :D

The "power" bar has a faster charge on Jay3, if you want to try that out. And the grenades will most certainly kill you (if you're not running around like a headless chicken), and if not, you'll get downed by a hail of bullets quick enough.

Our NQ2 and 3 (I think, or maybe it's 1... dunno) have custom panzer settings.

Basically what I'm getting at, is instead of making these changes and only playing on one server, see what all of ours have to offer!

I think we have very good settings in Jay2, i like that grenade, panzer or flame is not too powerfull because we have servers where they are more powerfulls, so its good to keep different settings for different servers, because every player like different settings and now they can choose servers where is settings what they like.

nq2 has panzer cam nq 3 is normal nq1 not sure

Thanks for the ideas Ben. Personally I think its fine as it is, especially when there are more ppl in then even if landmines doesn´t kill rambo junkies instantly they are gunned down by couple of guys sooner or later.

As I understood theres a chance to get new vsays back, don´t know how it is progressing. I hope they will as jay2 would be more fun server and jay1 without sounds as always(which is fine by me).

granades and  landmines seem to be harmless and  should give more damage, you're right here.

Goldrush, hmm, I believe it would be much more fun if there were more players on server. If it's 10 vs 10, well, it is boring. I will try to convince to change it into Goldrush Sw Te final (slightly different version) 

Fun vsays, no clue  about that. :/

Flamethrower, i think it's fun when you still can escape from that stuff :P 

Rest IMO is fine :)

hehe thanks for the input guys, and von makes a really good point, I was just thinking of the regulars who play that have over 100k xp, I dont think they want to play any where else, and sometimes change is not a good thing i understand but maybe we might get more players this way im not sure, but anyways, what ever happens im all for it!!! :D

One settings come to my mind when thinking of jay2. 

There should be changes in xp points for new players who connect. It is hardly to get 4 stars from medic to receive adrenaline. Many new players may disconnect for not having adrenaline faster. It's just case of medic.

well we all really really want the jay2 vsays back plz bring them back and i have one more issue that the respawn time after building cp it still is 15 sec which is alot can u guys reduce the respawn time after cp is build to 10 or 8 cause it is no use of building cp...

New vsays are still in the works for Jay2/3. The most recent sound pack was not normalized properly, and was thus pulled.

 

And the command post isn't for re-spawn timers. It's for the charge bar. i.e. for adre, air strikes, etc.

ok but i think we should reduce the respawn time it takes forever to respawn like 15 sec and sometimes that causes obj loss so can we reduce it to 8-10

It's not that easy...

There's a rule of thumb. For every 2 seconds Allies spends in limbo, Axis spends 3 seconds. So yes, the Axis respawn is a little long, it could be 12-13 seconds, as Allies is 9 seconds.

But if Axis respawn were 10 seconds, then Allies respawn would be 7 seconds. Dunno what the Jay2 regulars think of that idea.

I optimized my soundpack just yesterday. It's waiting for approval New version
