 So I was trying to get on our server today, and I do fine for a bout 10 seconds, then wham, I get the busy signal on screen and the game locks up..  Doesn't happen in single player.. Any Ideas?

This happens when you don't play COD4. Your PC is rebelling.

Or TitanFall :D

In all honesty though, it sounds like a problem with your connection to the server. Unless you mean the actual game freezes in which case it's most likely a problem with RAM, normally that it's run out of it's allotment.

It's the whole game locks up.. I should have stated also, my brother has a minecraft server, and I don't have the same problem there either..  Hehe my pc is over a year old now, maybe i'ts time for something new :D

And yes, more Titanfall!!

I'm pretty sure it's a client side error. I'm not 100% sure what is causing the error, but I am fairly sure it's on your end since the error I see in console when you connect points in that direction:

12:55:21 PM Server: Welcome back, Ph0eniX1
12:55:21 PM CONSOLE->Ph0eniX1: Hey there, Ph0eniX1!
12:55:21 PM CONSOLE->Ph0eniX1: Welcome to F|A Minecraft! join our community! Fearless-assassins.com
12:55:41 PM CONSOLE: Ph0eniX1 has left.
12:55:41 PM CONSOLE: [INFO] Ph0eniX1 lost connection: Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer
12:55:41 PM CONSOLE: [INFO] Ph0eniX1 left the game.

When is the last time you updated your java? 9/10 times if it's not your connection, it's because your java is out of date.

Considering you were even able to connect at all this probably ain't even an issue, but you may make sure that you're running the same version of MC as the server, which is 1.7.9.

there's a helpful thread here about the type of error you're getting and various ways to help solve it. and here's another good one that UAdave found: http://www.minecraftman.com/internal-exception-java-net-socketexception-connection-reset/ It seems to be a little more current than mine.

I have everything updated, I try to keep it that way.. But I went back and re-installed the latest version of java, my vid drivers are up to date..  This was the reason I hadn't played in so long, I couldn't get past this lock up.. But anyway, this is what it looks like still, every time I join..

Try reinstalling Minecraft itself, it looks like there's a hang up on your computer that's causing the program to stop responding. I take it you're on windows 8 then?

    Yeah 8.1 now, I recently did the update... Which could cause some sort of issue I guess since I have had this installed forever haha..  I will try re-installing and see where it goes from there :D

Seems clean install has fixed the issue, which I am glad, but I wish I knew what that is was so we could make a post on how to fix..  Even though I am in the server, I feel like I need to research this out further hehe..  Thanks JOE and everyone else for all the help though :D
