CheepHeep Posted January 12, 2014 Share Posted January 12, 2014 Hey guys, Basically, yesterday i was playing around with some settings trying to boost my fps because currently it is around 15 which im fine with but obviously the more the better. So anyway , i must of changed something because after changing some stuff ive been experiencing crazy lag and low fps. Ping has gone from 300 to 500 on average and fps from 15 to 4.It skips frames, crosshair suddenly jumps from one side of the screen to another in one frame.. Its simply unplayable and maybe the easiest course of action is to reinstall ET saving ETkey and silEnT.dat files but i'm wondering if there any solutions that may fix this without uninstalling. Based on that we can tweak config. 300 to 500 ping = bad routing or router issue or wifi issues or something else. 15 is too low. I suggest at least 30 to enjoy the game play. 15 FPS lags!!!! CheepHeep Posted January 12, 2014 Author Share Posted January 12, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the reply. Been playing with 15-20fps for 2years so i'm used to it, besides i am using a Netbook. Hard to get high fps on such a petite device. So you can probably understand why i have such low fps. Also i'm using my neighbours wifi so it wouldn't be a strong connection. Its either that or i don't play at all, so i settle for it.
