Blue Screen

Hello Everybody,

 

I am a first time poster but have been playing ET for years.

I wanted to get your input on the blue screen I’ve been getting.

I am running Windows Vista on quad processor.

I don’t play any other games and only experience this blue screen with ET.

This can sometimes happens during gameplay, but mostly during the map loading screen.

Below are photos of the blue screen and the error message after restart.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to go about troubleshooting?

I would recommend updating your display drivers first.

Yeah, start with making sure your graphics card drivers are up to date. If they are, uninstall and reinstall them.

Well i have Window vista too and it already happened to me.

Bluescreen could be a damage registry files,malware, viruses and corrupted data. These errors are often caused by improper maintence of your system. you need to fix it or you computer could have severe problems.

Those codes you have there are the error codes..

 

The last screen shot you posted lists them in windows, if you can copy/paste, you can search those on google and get a good idea what the problem is.

 

BCP1, BCP2, BCP3, BCP4 have the codes to the right of them.

No it wont,i dont why would you recommend this program when the first google results redirect to websites that catch scams/forums that have topics about this program having a virus.Also giving the direct link to download this seems sketchy.

Try uninstalling the Intel Graphics Media application, I think that's what its called. Reboot. Then do a windows update and a new Inter graphics driver should be there, hopefully.

I was having the same blue screen problem when I started to play and nothing helped me besides buying other graphic card
