what ive seen alot on other communities website is that they have direct link to aplication section on main page, easier and faster for new comers find it. Not saying its hard to find now but just a thought

since we are talking about the main page I was wondering if the White should be changed to a darker color or the words to a darker color. Doesn't look completely right with the Carbon theme.

I think that this is a good idea, even though I am already a member, I find it often difficult to find the application area. :/
