yellow flash Posted March 6, 2012 Share Posted March 6, 2012 so today player named Aris3 asked he's xp doesnt save ( no guid/etkey) told him to get it where to put it and all basic stuff i found on server's but still aint working. he would post this himself but he cant forum name is super3. says he cannot start new topic so if u can put him to users grp from validating he can post here hes computers info better than tru me with xfire. Secondly, if he is sure that he copied the etkey in the right folder, he could try the following: If /cl_guid reveals that you have an *Unknown* guid, join a server then type the following: /pb_cl_enable; pb_system 1; pb_writecfg; reconnect; This should solve all issues. My fhirst problem was that i didnt had xp save after puting Etkey in the right files. But i knew i made a mess of my etmap (2.55+2.60b) in 1 map. So i decided to reinstall it and put the files at the right places. After all i tried to connect but i got invalid guid. Then i asked ch0sen 0n3 about this, he gave me some tips, like above but it is still bad.
