The demos should show even if they are not from etpro BUT cutting them doesnt work, if I remember correctly. You should still see a list of demos if you correctly gave a path to your demos. You just wont be able to scan for any frag sprees with demos that are any other mod than etpro. Because of this, there really is no point in using this for anything other than etpro.

You're gonna have to look through the demos manually because afaik there is not moviemaking tools aimed at jaymod/NQ/etpub.

@hobbit:
I think, as I had already guessed when I asked him if he had 2.60b, that it only checks for dm_84 demos, that's why he can't see them, he probably hasn't patched his ET.
I don't have any 2.55 demo to test, I only tried to rename a demo as dm_somethingelse and it didn't show anymore.

@frated1
You could try to rename your demos to .dm_84 and see what happens. But to scan for frags you need etpro demos.

As regards cutting demos, you can cut jaymod demos too, but you have to know the times. You can cut by snap time, snap count, or number. I don't see a way to cut from x minute, y seconds, or maybe I didn't check well.

If you want to know the snapshot time, I don't remember atm if there is an easier way to get it, but you can play the demo then do /cg_debugevents 1 in console, and you will see the times for every event so you can have an idea of the numbers you have to put. set it back to zero after you finish.

I do have dm_84. I've had it for over a few months.

Using /show_framecount 1 shows the frames which can be used aswell.

cool, it's the same number as cg_debugevents and easier to read :) but I see it works only on etpro.
To get the same number in other mods, for example to /img_demoSeek with image_et (to fast forward, or rewind to a specific point) you need to know the servertime number as well. I often use that tool because it can also de-lag demos, so I can see (more or less) players real aim even for high pingers, and replay actions.

I don't know if there is another way to get that number, other than the command you said or cg_debugevents, but I guess no, otherwise they wouldn't have made that one for etpro.
