Under islamic law a person has to be buried within 24 hrs. Now unlike them we consider ourselves good guys and no matter if this guy was the most hated person in the world we still gave him a decent burial. Obviously when I say we it excludes you, well based on your statement you are a sick twisted f***.

lol why would we care about Islamic Law?

We invade a sovereign country to kill someone, we shoot other people in his "compound", including his wife, we remove his body, and then we dump him in the sea?

What is Islamic about dumping someone in the ocean?

Why do you call me a sick twisted f***? I never say bad things about anybody, except a real bastard like Osama Bin Laden.

lol why would we care about Islamic Law?

because the second we stop respecting other beliefs contrary to our own is the second we become more like those we dislike. People generalize muslims because of men like Bin Laden. Should I generalize Germans because of Hitler? Or Chinese because of Mao, Russians because of Stalin? Italians because of Caligula? Americans because of Ted Kazynski or Dahmer? Or Cubans because of Castro? How many more examples do you want of how ignorant we are? I'm glad we took the high road and followed his professed religion. It was SMART. Now his followers can't get mad because he was desecrated.

Hell, by your logic every foreign visitor to America, or any other country shouldn't obey the laws of the country they visit.

What is Islamic about dumping someone in the ocean?

From my understanding, it is within the boundary of Islamic law to bury someone at sea should noone make a claim for the body. Noone did....hence sleepin with the fishes.

How long did they have the body? How do we know it was 24 hours?

Who was informed about his assassination and did they have time to claim the body?

What evidence do we now have that this assassination ever really happened?

How convenient to follow Islamic Law when it applies to corpse disposal.

Perhaps he has been dead for years, and a certain US politician wants to claim credit for his assassination, since there is no one who can disprove it.

What part of the ocean was he dumped? Was it in international waters? Or off the coast of Pakistan? Is this legal?

Should he have received a fair trial? How do we know he did not try to surrender? We don't have any video to examine.

Is this against the Geneva Convention?

Were Islamic last rites performed? How could this be proven either way?

What is the point of respecting Islamic Law regarding a man who has done more to cause harm to Muslims than anyone else in hundreds of years?

Most Muslims are peace-loving, as are the majority of Jews and Christians. Bin Laden ruined the perception of Muslims in the USA, ruining the lives of thousands of immigrants. Now they are afraid to live in the USA. And now Americans are afraid to travel overseas out of fear that angry Muslims will target them.

Today at work we received a travel advisory that all overseas non business-critical travel is cancelled for the immediate future. Even in death we are still dealing with the legacy of Bin Laden.

Bin Laden's attack ruined my country. He created a climate of fear that enabled far-right politicians to transform us into a police state. Now we get searched everywhere we go. Our phone calls and emails are all legally traceable. Our celphones can be searched at a traffic stop. You young guys have no idea how nice the USA was to live in during the 1990s. Everything was great. Now it's a mess, the economy is collapsing (for many reasons), gas is $4 a gallon, everyone is unemployed/underemployed, we are stuck in three or four wars (depending on how you count them), etc etc.

Just cause you do not care doesn't mean that rest of us don't. I grew up in a country with 3 major religions and I was raised to respect them even thought I am an Atheist, but at least I know enough about them and people that embrace them. Again you look at it with your narrow hick view and to you it doesn't make sense and hence it becomes a conspiracy. I have been through some major fuking things in my life, I was impacted by certain events more then others, but after all I have been through and overcome I would never wish on anyone to have their head on a spike or whatever fuked up shit you would do to them. You my friend sound like an extremist and hence you are no better then them. Maybe you should make it a habit of staying out the topics that you cannot comprehend or have a clear picture of since you make yourself look like a moron. Take it as an insult or don't I really couldn't care less. I speak my mind and trust me I hold a whole lot back.

It was less then 24 hrs.
Who was informed about his assassination and did they have time to claim the body?
Few countries were contacted they all refused his body
What evidence do we now have that this assassination ever really happened?
There is a video and photograpic evidence and testimony of 2 dozen Navy Seals that were part of the OP
How convenient to follow Islamic Law when it applies to corpse disposal.
That sentence doesn't make sense, did you get a GED?
Perhaps he has been dead for years, and a certain US politician wants to claim credit for his assassination, since there is no one who can disprove it.
Idiots like you will believe anything so go play with Donald Trump
What part of the ocean was he dumped? Was it in international waters? Or off the coast of Pakistan? Is this legal?
He was dumped in north arabian sea
Should he have received a fair trial? Did he not have rights as a prisoner of war?
He used a women as body shield and was taken down just like any other criminal in such a situation, I believe this is a normal practice in USA
Is this against the Geneva Convention to execute prisoners of war and bury them at sea?
He is not a prisoner of war and no it is not, if he was a head of state maybe, but as an fugitive that is directly responsible for murder of thousands its perfectly legal
Were Islamic last rites performed? How could this be proven either way?
Its 2011 everything get videotaped

People like yourself that are ignorant of others are responsible for this type of perception.
Today at work we received a travel advisory that all overseas non-business critical travel is cancelled for the immediate future. Even in death we are still dealing with the legacy of Bin Laden.
You are dealing with a legacy of republican warmongering not a legacy of Bin Laden.

That's fine dude, I know you don't like me. I have many people in real life who love me, so one guy on the internet who hates me is no big deal.

I really don't care about your miserable childhood in Croatia. I had a traumatic childhood too. Nothing special about it really.

I want to know why they dumped him at sea. Now there is no evidence they got him. See?

That "head on a stick" comment is a metaphor. You say crazy stuff all the time too. I don't care what they do to him, but dumping him at sea is just stupid.

It isn't stupid. It was a decision, and a good one.
They couldn't plan a burial and bury him within 24 hours. Where would they? No country wanted him and we wouldn't be allowed to do so without that countries approval. We sure as hell wouldn't bury him in America. Imagine the outrage we would get from that! So what else was there to do?

I never said that I don't like you. I was born and lived and survived the siege of Sarajevo thats in Bosnia. I had to fukin zig zag from snipers when getting water, ever play lets try to get fresh air and hope a fukin mortar doesnt blow me to pieces, that was my fukin childhood, there is nothing in your life so far that compares to what I have been through from 92-95. Ever fukin starve so your mom and sister can have a meal tomorrow I DONT FUKIN THINK SO. SO DO NOT EVER COMPARE YOUR FUKIN HILLBILLY LIFE TO MINE.

They dumped him BECAUSE NO OTHER COUNTRY WOULD TAKE HIS BODY INCLUDING HIS COUNTY OF BIRTH SAUDI ARABIA. If you cannot understand that then go look at the mirror and say there are people that love me but god am I stupid. Don't reply to this.

Osama got what was coming for him. I'm glad that we currently have a president with balls, and a president willing to make decisive decisions when faced with a National Security issue. I am not American, but since I live in this country, and have for some 11 years now. I can say that I am proud we have people like Obama in America. There is too much blind stupidity and ignorance in America, and it is a damn shame that a country of this size and magnitude has to question the actions of its president when clearly he has taken every precaution possible to make sure that we do not leave Osama to become a martyr and a ideology that further fuels Islamist extremism. I have no beef with the Muslims, but I do want the crazy motherf***er extremists who kill people of all religions, including their own hunted down like the f***ING SAVAGE ANIMALS THEY ARE.

and yes, IT IS KNOWN FACT THAT SAUDI ARABIA WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH OSAMA. HE HAD TO LEAVE OUT TO SUDAN AND VARIOUS OTHER COUNTRIES WHEN HE WAS EXILED FROM SAUDI ARABIA. I'm glad you got your facts straight Joe.
