About 4 months ago, I started going blind in my right eye, not having the funds to do anything about it, I just went blind to the point of loosing appx 90% of my vision in my right eye As having no vision in my right eye, and my monitor being a wide screen monitor, it not only made it hard to see anyone on my right, (to shoot em) it also wrecked my depth of vision totally. So, as of now CoD4 and ET are not near as fun as they used to be, cuz I can't see you.. or maybe all of you have become more Ninja.. I could see that happening too. As of right now, I am in the application process of my states program for blindness prevention, and it looks like I will be successful in that application. If I am acceptid, it will pay for the necessary surgery to reattach my retina in my right eye (oops, forgot to mention that the ophthalmologist said it was a detached retina, requiring surgery) . As I cannot afford the $300-900 retina specialist, that will even tell me if it is possible to fix it with surgery, I don't know yet if I will be able to see out of my eye ever again. BigPaus Posted April 1, 2011 Share Posted April 1, 2011 My girlfriend just had her 4th surgery in regards to retinal detachment. It's not fun. First couple times it seemed to work, but this last time she can only see ligh and some shadows. Nothing out of her left eye whatsoever anymore. Luckily it's all covered here in Canada. We are going to be looking into an eyeball replacement as we think it might just be too much scarring from the surgeries in her eye ball now causing the blindness.
