Olykiller Posted March 17, 2011 Share Posted March 17, 2011 (edited) Hello Today i went on server and my cfg looked totally diffrent (i tried to join dri server and after that my cfg was fcked up) so now i thought, lets put on my cfg i always have it on USB (backup), so i picked that cfg up but that totally didnt look like i was used to this is my current screen: Uploaded with ImageShack.us but im used to some more bright cfg my settings are: /r_gamma 3 /r_ignorehwgamma 1 /r_overbrightbits 1 /r_mapoverbrightbits 2 anyone knows how to make it more light? sky can be dark like it is ps: if i do /r_ignorehwgamma 0 my screen is fcked up, way too light, even with changing gamma it looks very weird thx in advance Edited March 17, 2011 by Olykiller Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
TulsaGeoff Posted March 17, 2011 Share Posted March 17, 2011 r_overbrightbits 2 (can go to 3) then vid_restart R_mapoverbrightbits can go to 3 Both of those will make is bright. You should adjust your gamma down to 2 then go from there. I also find that if I have sky drawn it seems brighter as well. cg_drawsky 1 ?
