My favorite author is Douglas Clegg just wondering if anybody knows of any other good horror authors. I know many will say Stephen King but he is just not one of my favorite authors. RoosterCogburn
Well, King and Lovecraft are the obvious ones, check out Peter Straub, he's my favorite horror writer. I recommend reading Shadowland first. Probably his best imo.
KevinBacon
Death Troopers combines zombies with the Star Wars universe. It's a win-win situation!
PHANTASM
My favorite author is a guy named Harry Franck, who was a world traveler who wrote about his adventures 100 years ago . The dude walked around the earth in 1904-1905. He wrote a book called "Vagabond Journey Around The World" about this trip. He then wandered through Mexico and wrote about it. He then worked on the Panama Canal and wrote about it in "Zone Policeman 88" (he was a cop) He wrote a bunch of other books like that. He fought in WWII in his sixties. He was fit in the face with shrapnel from a German shell. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_A._Franck http://www.harryafranck.com./hafbio.htm
