IronChef's simple spicy balls
(You want them in your mouth)
T = Tablespoon. tsp = teaspoon
This is how I do it:
8oz ground turkey
8oz ground beef
3 T ground black pepper - seems like a lot, but it's part of the appeal
2 tsp kosher salt
1 T MINCED onions. Rock your knife over sliced onions until you have a fine mince.
1 tsp grated garlic or garlic powder (yuck. use fresh)
1 beautiful young Chinese woman.
Fold the first 8 ingredients together.. don't mash any more than you have to, my balls must be tender.
Simmer gently in tomato sauce for 1 hour. Alternatively, you can shallow poach them in water or stock. Do not bake my balls. Do not fry my balls.
While the balls are simmering, make sweet love to the beautiful young Chinese woman. When she's satisfied, server her these balls with
red sauce over pasta, or use leftover balls (best to cool them in the fridge so they become firmer) for a meatball sub.
