I used the option 2 and it is very wieard ... option 1 does not work and option 3 ive got no idea what it is do you have another link?

Try here. I'd recommend patching up to 2.60b after you install the game. Here's a tutorial if you get stuck somewhere: http://fearless-assassins.com/tutorials/article/46-installing-260b/

if you installed ET on windows 7!! take a look to this video http://fearless-assassins.com/tutorials/article/70-how-fix-run-wet-and-punkbuster-in-vista-or-windows7/ and do the first step about Run as admin without touching punkbuster cuz the setup is already updated and then check last step about firewall and antivirus

 

once you are done, you'll be ready to go
